The 'Transformative Agreement' (TA) signed between Springer Nature and TÜBİTAK-ULAKBİM became active again on January 1, 2025. The agreement covers the period 2024-2026.
Ibn Haldun University members will be able to publish open-access publications in the types of "Original Article", "Review Article", and "Continuing Education" in Q1 and Q2 group Springer Nature Hybrid journals (1074 journals), which are included in the SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI subject classification indexed in Web of Science, without paying the Article Processing Charge (APC). Under the agreement, there is an annual quota of articles. The publication must pay the APC fee if the yearly quota is filled.
With the pilot application started in BMC journals of Springer Nature publishing house, a 75% APC discount will be applied to our country. Thus, our researchers publishing in 62 BMC journals will pay only 25% of the total APC fee.

Ibn Haldun University members will be able to publish open access publications in the types of "Research Article", “Review Article”, "Data Article" and "Rapid Publication" in the Q1 and Q2 group Wiley Hybrid and Wiley Gold Journals (928 journals, excluding Hindawi), which are included in the SCIE, SSCI, and AHCI subject classification indexed in Web of Science (WOS), without paying the Article Processing Charge (APC). There is an annual quota of articles under the agreement. If the yearly quota is filled, the APC fee of the publication must be paid.
