Graduate and Guest Users

Users with an IHÜ alumni card have the right to use the library and library resources on-site at any time. The IHÜ Library is also open to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students who are not employees or students of Ibn Haldun University, as well as users and academics from partner institutions. These individuals may use the library as "Guest Users".

Terms for IHU Graduates to Benefit from the Library

Holders of IHU alum cards can benefit from library and library resources whenever they want. 

To use the loan service and access the library in the evenings, you must register for library membership and pay a deposit fee. Members who are graduates have the right to use the library on weekdays between 08.00-17.00 on the 1st and 2nd floors; between 17.00-23.00, including the ground floor. On weekends, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, they are only permitted to use the ground floor. The library's 24/7 reading area is only open to current İHÜ students.

User Responsibilities

Graduated users obtain the right to use the services and facilities provided by the university within the framework of their membership. They can benefit from the services and facilities in line with the "Library Working Hours and General Rules." IHU Library has the right to cancel the membership of users who do not comply with the university's and the library's general rules.

  • To use library materials clean, without marking and damage.
  • To provide a quiet environment in designated Quiet Workspaces.
  • Comply with the library's computer usage rules.
  • Refrain from behavior that interferes with research or other library work.
  • Show a valid identity document if requested.

Guest User Membership Terms

University members have a top priority to use library space, resources, and services. Undergraduate and graduate students and researchers who are not members of the university can use the library and become a member to benefit from the collection and services within a specific framework. This membership is also valid for Tömer students.

Guest User Rights

Members who come as guest users have the right to use the general reading rooms. A library membership registration must be created to benefit from the loan service, and a membership fee must be paid. Members have the right to use the library on weekdays between 08.00-17.00.

  • Residence issued on behalf of the user
  • Educational status certificate for undergraduate students and graduates

  • Collection receipt showing that the membership deposit has been deposited in the accounting of Ibn Haldun University

TÖMER Students Membership Conditions

  • They can only take out one simple story at a time.
  • In order to become members, they must submit a 1500 TL deposit.
