As Ibn Haldun University, we provide scanning services to Kyocera printers in the library and different units of our University to facilitate our students' academic processes. This guide includes access to the scanning service, usage, and solutions to potential problems.

Access to the Scanning Service and Login to the Device
- Requesting a PIN Code: You can request a PIN code to the IT Technical Support unit via the support.ihu.edu.tr system.
- Login with PIN Code: You can log in using the “Login with PIN” option on the Kyocera device screen.
- ID Card Identification Option: You can also use your ID card to log in. After logging in with your PIN, you must introduce your ID card to the system at least once using the card identification button on the screen. You can also use your ID card to log in.

Document Scanning Process
- Place the document: For a single page, place it on the scanning glass. For multiple pages, use the automatic document feeder.
- Scan Settings: Tap the “Scan” menu. Adjust the Color/Black & White, Single/Double Sided, and Resolution settings.
- Save and Send: Use one of the options to send via e-mail or save to USB memory.

Potential Problems and Solutions
- When PIN Code is Forgotten: You can request a new PIN code at support.ihu.edu.tr (IT Technical Support).
- ID Card Problems: You can try to pair your card again by logging in with your PIN code.
- Scanning Problems: Check your e-mail's spam folder.
- Device Malfunctions: You can contact helpdesk@ihu.edu.tr.
