Intern and Part-Time Work

Part-Time Work

Within the framework of this practice, our students are allowed to work in line with their interests and abilities in their spare time outside of class hours. In this way, it contributes to the student's financial gain, gaining practical skills, and being productive individuals who have acquired work discipline.

The link to the instructions that will be needed within the framework of the part-time working application is given below:

Students who have sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities for the job to be employed and have a minimum GPA of 2.50/4.00 are given the right to apply for the "Part-Time Work Programme."

The Library Department determines working hours in a way that does not disrupt the student's curriculum. Although it is essential not to work on public holidays and holidays, it is possible to work on these dates if necessary.

Part-time students (within the program's framework deemed appropriate) can work 3 to 5 hours a day and a maximum of 15 hours per week.

  • Preparatory students.
  • Students whose grade point average has not yet been determined.
  • Non-Thesis Master's students.
  • Students of another University studying at our University with the status of "Special Student."
  • Those with a criminal record for acts such as terrorism, drugs, or infamous crimes.
  • Those who have been disciplined.
  • Those with an income of at least "Minimum Wage" (excluding Orphan's Salary and Alimony).
  • If they have worked before, those whose contracts have been terminated due to the breach of the agreement made with our Institution during the period of employment.
  • Those who exceed the standard education period (one year is added to those who read the preparatory class).

The fact that a student works part-time in one academic year does not mean that he will continue to work as a part-time student in the next academic year. Students who want to work part-time must re-apply each semester. This is valid during the summer period.
