Ibn Haldun University Library started in 2015 with the establishment of Ibn Haldun University. The aim of the library, which provides services in a contemporarily arranged area, is to support research and education programs, to meet the information and documentation needs of the faculty members, students and staff, and to support the accumulation, use, and transfer of knowledge at national and international level.
The Library as the “heart of the university”, which is supported by the university administration, provides information and document services to researchers in Turkey and the world, as well as academic staff, students, other employees, and the people of the environment. Through the dynamic website, researchers are able to utilize the services in an electronic environment continuously for 24 hours.
The Library provides services such as help desk, access to data, internet use, use of audio-visual information resources and electronic databases, lending, publications from other libraries, etc. In addition to classical information services, it organizes continuing education programs to increase the use of information resources.
The Library supplies all kinds of printed, electronic, audiovisual information in line with the needs of its users. Print resources are offered by the open shelf system. Electronic resources can be used in the e-library hall inside the library and also through remote access as well as through the users’ own computers.
