Dear Members of Ibn Haldun University,
The Library Department is organizing an exciting event at the intersection of technology and knowledge as part of the 61st Library Week activities. The “Artificial Intelligence Supported Information Hunt in IHU Library” competition will test the participant's ability to access information and strategic thinking skills by utilizing artificial intelligence technologies.
Participants will use library resources to solve the tasks given to them as soon as possible. Printed books, subscribed databases, AI-enabled tools, and library services will guide the participants in this interactive knowledge discovery game.
Contest Details
The competition will be held in groups of 2 people.
Each group can apply only once.
Participation is limited to quota:
12 Main Groups + 5 Reserve Groups
Applications will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Substitute groups must be in the area on the day of the competition. If they do not participate, the original groups will be included in the competition.
The groups eligible to participate in the competition will be notified by email on Monday, March 24.
Team 1: 15,000 TL Gift Voucher + Certificate Team 2: 10,000 TL Gift Certificate + Certificate Team 3: 5,000 TL Gift Voucher + Certificate
All participants will receive a certificate.
Ibn Haldun University's corporate social media accounts will announce the winning groups.
Award Ceremony
The winning groups will receive their awards at an event on Monday, April 7, 2025.
Important Information
Only Ibn Haldun University members (students, academic, and administrative staff) can participate in the competition.
Library staff and part-time students who have worked at the library for at least one year cannot participate in the competition.
Substitute groups must be present in the competition area on the day of the competition. If no participants from the original groups are present, they will be included in the competition sequentially.
Each group can apply only once.
Correction rights will not be granted in case of incorrect applications.
Each group can use the "Ask a Librarian" wildcard only once during the competition.
