A Panel on “Ethics and Policies in AI-Powered Tools” Held as Part of the 61st Library Week Events
As part of the 61st Library Week activities, the panel “Ethics and Policies in Artificial Intelligence Supported Vehicles” was held on Wednesday, April 16.

As part of the 61st Library Week activities, the Library Department of Ibn Haldun University organized a panel titled “Ethics and Policies in AI-Powered Tools,” providing an academic platform to discuss the ethical, governance, and societal implications of artificial intelligence technologies from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Distinguished speakers Dr. Sami Çuhadar and Mr. Ertuğrul Çimen contributed significantly to the event by sharing their field experiences as professionals in executive roles. The panel served as a valuable platform for the exchange of knowledge at the intersection of policymakers, practitioners, and academics.

This panel was held in full alignment with Ibn Haldun University’s mission to cultivate socially responsible individuals and its vision of contributing to society through knowledge production.

At the end of the panel, awards and certificates were presented to the winners of the “Artificial Intelligence Supported Information Hunt in IHU Library” competition.

We extend our sincere thanks to all stakeholders who contributed to the event, the Library team who carried out the organization, our part-time student assistants, and all administrative units that provided support.

We are also deeply grateful to our Library Director, Mr. Sönmez Çelik, for his guidance and continuous support throughout the process.
