The IHU LibAI Hub, located on the ground floor of the İbn Haldun University Library, has opened as an innovative center aimed at enhancing awareness of AI-supported learning, research, and ethical use.

Ibn Haldun University Library offers university members an innovative workspace tailored to the needs of the age of artificial intelligence. Located on the ground floor of the library, the IHU LibAI Hub has begun operating as a specialized center designed to support AI-assisted learning and production processes.

A New AI-Assisted Learning Environment
The IHU LibAI Hub was established to empower students, academics, and administrative staff to utilize artificial intelligence tools within a conscious, professional, and ethical framework. Access to the artificial intelligence tools used at the center is provided through institutional subscriptions offered by the library, and all usage processes are carried out under the supervision of library staff and in accordance with established ethical principles.

Education, Awareness, and Academic Support Center
IHU LibAI Hub serves as an education and awareness center that goes beyond being just a workspace, acting as the hub for interactive training and active knowledge sharing among participants. The center offers:

  • Training programs on the correct and effective use of artificial intelligence in academic research,
  • Workshops and seminars aimed at developing artificial intelligence literacy,
  • Consulting sessions for faculty members and students

contributing to the university's artificial intelligence ecosystem.

A Model Supporting Open Science and Ethical Approaches
LibAI Hub aims to be an exemplary model that supports the holistic and responsible use of artificial intelligence technologies in libraries. The center aims to raise awareness across the university on open science, data security, ethical principles, and artificial intelligence literacy.

Reservation-Based Usage
Users can reserve computers located within the Hub via reservation.ihu.edu.tr using their IHU email addresses and passwords for individual or group work. Thus, the Hub provides a regular, accessible, and controlled workspace that supports academic productivity.
