Ibn Haldun University Department of Comparative Literature organized the Symposium on New Trends in Literary Studies on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, 10.00-16.00 at the Library Seminar Hall. The opening speech of the event was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. C. Ceyhun Arslan from Koç University Department of Comparative Literature.
In the symposium, Prof. Dr. Frederic Spagnoli from the Department of Rare Books and Digital Humanities at the University of Franche-Comté, Assoc. Prof. Nagihan Haliloğlu from the Department of English Language and Literature at Boğaziçi University and the Department of Comparative Literature at our University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Merve Aktar and Lecturer. Assist. D. Candidate Rajeev Kumar from the Alliance of Civilizations Institute, PhD Student Büşra Şengül from Boğaziçi University Department of Turkish Language and Literature, and Rumeysa Oğuz, who continues her PhD studies at Istanbul University Department of English Language and Literature and also works as a Research Assistant at the Department of Comparative Literature of our university, made their presentations. İrem Ak from the Department of Psychology and Zehra Yedidal from the Department of Comparative Literature were among our undergraduate students who contributed to the symposium.
