The IHU Library and the Career and Development Club Hosted a Digital Skills Workshop
The "Digital Skills: AI – From Homework to Career Artificial Intelligence Workshop," organized in collaboration between the Ibn Haldun University Career and Development Club and the IHU Library, took place on Wednesday, March 11.

Organized in collaboration between the Ibn Haldun University Career and Development Club and the IHU Library, the "Digital Skills: AI – From Homework to Career Artificial Intelligence Workshop" took place on Wednesday, March 11, at the IHU LibAI Hub located on the ground floor of the library. The LibAI Hub is an AI-enabled workspace that provides participants with opportunities to experience the benefits of technology and artificial intelligence.

As part of the workshop, Merve Dirken, Senior Specialist in Library User Services, delivered a presentation titled "IHU Library 101: From Assignments to Careers AI Workshop." Participants gained knowledge of topics such as creating a Europass CV with AI tools, effectively using digital skills for career development, using AI in academic assignments, and the ethical and responsible use of AI.

The program aimed to enhance participants’ digital competencies by combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Through this training, participants discovered how to leverage AI technologies not only in their academic lives but also in their careers.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Sönmez Çelik, Director of the Library Department, met with the participants and shared his important insights on the development and ethical use of artificial intelligence. Emphasizing the importance of ethical use during this period when artificial intelligence is rapidly integrating into our lives, he provided the participants with valuable insights on how we should interact responsibly with technology.
